This event takes place in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Mi’kmaq People. We are grateful and humbled to have the privilege of paddling kayaks and learning skills that originate from Inuit ingenuity and invention of kayaks as seal-hunting vessels. We understand that along with this privilege comes the responsibility to Treaty, to each other, and to this land and these beautiful waters.
