Saturday, March 19th 7:00 – 8:30 pm.

Join David Chapman, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC), in the launch of a year long night-sky adventure. Rain or shine.

Saturday, March 19th Dave will give a talk in the Deanery Hall about night sky observing, and introduce the RASC Explore the Universe Certificate. In the months following Dave will help guide participants through the largely self directed certificate program.

The all-ages course typically takes 6-12 months to complete. Dave and the Deanery will support participants with online resources, periodic talks and gatherings, and cultivation of a network of new skywatchers. There will be additional celestial events at the Deanery Project over the course of the year.

Talk and approx year long program participation $15. Register here.
