All Souls Day – Open House & Moon Talks

Open House All Souls Day event!

Current COVID protocols will apply:
masks indoors, physical distancing between families/households and sign in for contact tracing.
1:00-3:00   Open House.
Self guided ,and guided walk abouts.
Spooky nature scavenger hunt coordinated by
The Young Naturalist Club.
3:00 -4:00 and 4:00 -5:00 (same talk twice) Dave Chapman from the Royal Astronomical Society will share an all ages talk about the moon. Learn about the history and geology of the moon, and how to find and observe moon features with ordinary binoculars!
Pre-registration is required for both talks. See below – max 20 people per talk.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, but we will have multiple sets on site to borrow as well.
5:00 -6:00  Stay on for a Harvest Soup and Witches Brew ( $10).
6:00 – 7:00 (Weather Permitting)! full moon observations & interpretation with Dave.
Suggested minimum for day donation: $5.00
