Empowering Collaborative Groups: A Social Permaculture Course with Starhawk

About the Course:

Collaborative groups may be healing, nurturing, and inspirational— or they may be founded on the rocks of conflict and poor communication. But when we understand their patterns and challenges, we can design structures that favour supportive, nurturing relationships, and allow us to do the hard, long-term work of making systemic change. In this six-week online course, Starhawk will guide us through her book The Empowerment Manual: A Guide for Collaborative Groups. Insights from both permaculture and magic will help us learn to be more effective and joyful as we work together to regenerate our world.

Students from the Deaf community are welcome!

If at least 6 Deaf students enrol in the course, the entire course will be ASL interpreted. We’d love for there to be as many as possible, of course.

Group Discounts Available

  • If 3-5 students sign up together, they will receive a 15% tuition discount each
  • If 5-10 students sign up together, they will receive a 30% tuition discount each

Diversity Fund Scholarships Available

A limited number of pay-what-you-can scholarships are available for Indigenous Peoples and People of Color working in the food and environmental justice community.
