10:00 – 4:30
at the Deanery Project
37 Deanery Rd.
Lower Ship Harbour, NS

Come help cover the faded yellow plywood of the Main Hall with locally harvested FSC board and batten!

One constant refrain for the last two years, ever since the Deanery Project began, has been “When are you going to fix up the outside of the Main Hall?” The time has come!!!
Thanks to a generous contribution from HRM’s Community Grants Program we are at last able to insulate and install new wood siding which will give the Hall a huge face lift, and reduce our heating costs.

We would like to invite anyone who has had a connection to the Deanery over the last 70 years, as well as anyone  who would like to find out more about what is going on, to join us for an old fashioned work party and help with putting on the siding before winter sets in.

All ages welcome.

No experience is needed (but experienced builders are welcome!) Please bring a hammer or food to help keep the workers energized. Come for an hour, an afternoon or the weekend ….we are looking forward to sharing these last autumn days with friends new and old in bringing new life to this important building.

Please call or email if you have questions and to let us know you can make it.
