SeaLight SkyLight Festival!

Click here for tickets – EventbriteActivities and performances at the all-ages event are inspired by the area’s naturally-occurring ocean bioluminescence and the Eastern Shore’s fabulous dark night sky. Schedule here.
The festival will showcase live music, workshops, a garden art gallery, shadow theatre and a candle lit procession with guests down to the waterfront. This year’s Cosmic Currents program includes musical performances by Bill Dawe, George Woodhouse, Mel Farrimond, Nick Bishop, Bill Ricky, and many others.
Members of the Halifax Planetarium, the Royal Astronomical Society and other astro-keeners will have their telescopes set up on the field along with other day and night sky activities to share their passion and skills for celestial observation.
The Community Eelgrass Restoration Initiative and HRM Recreation will be hosting kids activities and games throughout the afternoon, and local artists will have their work on display in the Garden Gallery. New this year, SeaLight SkyLight will collaborate with Music Declares Emergency and Rock the Bike to transform the Solar Kiln into a pedal-powered stage!
Noor’s Mediterranean Kitchen will be cooking up a storm in the Main Hall.
