SeaLight SkyLight Festival
Science, Art and Nature under Summer Night Skies
Science, art, and nature are brought together through performance, pageantry, and presentations inspired by the Persiad meteor shower and summer ocean bioluminescense. The dark skies above Ship Harbour are perfect for experiencing the magic of the Perseids. A stray mermaid might even find her way into our sparkly, bioluminescent harbour!
In addition to presentations and activities with astronomers and biologists there will also be live music and theatrical moments, making for a magical, don’t miss, family event. Bring your binoculars, a blanket, and a red light flashlight for great viewing of the night sky.
