Permaculture Design Certificate _ Online

Due to COVID 19 the Deanery is not able to offer an on-site Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) at this time. However we are excited to affiliate with EAT (Earth Activist Training) to offer a full online course instead. Charles Williams, the Deanery’s Program Director and long time Earth Activist Training educator, and Starhawk (EAT founder and director), will instruct this program along with many amazing guest presenters.

EAT has over 20 years of experience teaching permaculture and exploring solutions to climate change, with a focus in spirit, organizing and activism. The PDC focuses on how we can design systems that support humans and regenerate the natural world while using the least amount of energy and resources to create real abundance and social justice.
This is an internationally certified program. Students who complete the course requirements will receive a Permaculture Design Certificate, recognized by PINA (Permaculture Institute of North America).

Tuesdays July 21st – October 27 – Live classes on Zoom
6:00-8:00 pm – Pacific Time/ 10:00 pm-12:00 am Atlantic Time
If this is in the middle of the night for a student’s time zone, a video replay can be arranged.

All fifteen live classes will be recorded for optional viewing at a later time. The live sessions will include interactive exercises to help ground the presentations in hands-on ways. Each week students will also be assigned 2-3 hrs of homework and/ or hands-on projects, to complete their 72 hour certification requirements.
