Natural Dyed Egg Workshop – April 6, 2014
Natural Dyed Egg Workshop
Sunday, April 6 from 12 – 3 p.m.
Registration Fee $10
Easter is coming and spring is in the air. This is the second of our beautiful dyed egg workshops!
Also known as Swiss Eggs, these eggs are decorated using natural materials such as leaves and flowers, and then dyed with natural dyes made from onion skins, or beets. This is a beautiful and easy method for dying eggs that are still edible and will add an extra bit of flare to any breakfast!
The workshop will start with an easy trail walk to gather materials. Then participants will learn everything from how to make the dye from scratch to putting the designs on the eggs.
Instructor: Lynne Pascoe
Ages 12 and up
