A dear friend has passed.

was legendary for her generosity and her spirit among all who were privileged to know her. Her passion for family, community and the environment was a powerful force for good in the world.

She had incredible ability to weave currents of kindness in both small and large ways, sending ripples of love through song and drum, stitches, laughter and so much more.

Joan was a mother, connector and a visionary, a Water Walker and a loyal champion for change. She will be dearly missed by so many of us. We hold Ron, her children, grandchildren and her circles of friends in our hearts.
