Rural Roots Seasonal Skill Sharing – List of Presenters

We are still tweaking the schedule a bit, but it is coming together, and we just can’t wait to share all the exciting presenters with you. Here is the tentative schedule. If you’re hoping to catch a specific presentation, make sure you check back in case of a last-minute change.

Felting with Jen Organ

Learn about the welt felting technique. Jen will demonstrate how to make felted soap bars and how sushi mats can come in handy when making other small felted projects. Participants will have an opportunity to walk through the steps with Jen and make their own felted soap bars or other felt experiment. There will be some soap samples for participants to use, but feel free to bring your favourite soap bar if you’d like to felt your own!

Paul Nicholl owns and operates Dobbit Bakehouse in Musquodoboit Harbour. Making bread since he was 16, he is a graduate of NSCC’s Boulanger program and now offers Bread Baking classes.
