NS Sea School Camp & Dalhousie Free Lab: July 2013

The Deanery Project is excited to host the Nova Scotia Sea School, Alford Lake Camp from July 4th to 10th. Camp participants will be helping out with ongoing building projects and learning about the Deanery while preparing for a three week sailing trip. We look forward to hosting the Sea School again in the coming years.

Also in July, the Deanery will host another Dalhousie School of Architecture Free Lab. From July 19th until August 1st students from the school will be participating in a design and build project of their choice under the guidance of Deanery Executive Director Kim Thompson.

During these bookings the Deanery will be closed to the public. If you would like to come out to visit or volunteer in the time between these booking please get in touch. There are ongoing opportunities to learn about earth plasters, living roofs, cob, straw bale and permaculture at the Deanery. For more information email thedeaneryproject@gmail.com
