Connect to the environment through the sun and the wind.
Exciting, hands-on activities including powering a light bulb with a wind turbine that you build!

Thursday, March 15th 10 – 4:00 Ages 12 +
Explore the traditional art of whittling. Learn knife skills, safety and sharpening, as well as how to select and harvest carving materials from the forest. Take home projects!

Woodland Survival Skills
Friday, March 16th 10 – 4:00 Ages 12 +
Explore traditional techniques for shelter and fire building also trip planning and rescue signaling in the Deanery’s forest.
Learn to plan for things to go right, and how to be ready if they don’t.
Cost: $20+hst per day.
Please bring a bag lunch. Snacks provided. Car pooling encouraged.
