Clean Across Nova Scotia at the Deanery

On Saturday, April 20th the Deanery Project will be taking part in the annual Clean Across Nova Scotia event. Clean Across NS is a community led action to help clean up neighbourhoods across the province.

The Deanery Project is looking to bring together 10 or more folks (as many as possible!) to join the “Deanery Dragons, Clean Across NS Team” for an afternoon amble and litter collection along the Lower Ship Harbour Road.

If you, or anyone you know, might be interested joining us please email us at or just come to the Deanery at 2:00 Saturday. We will be helping find rideshares for those coming from outside of the area and will have all supplies (including gloves, bags etc.) on hand. Following the afternoon clean up we will head back to the Deanery to enjoy some warm beverages and snacks….. and if we are lucky, some tunes.

The Deanery Project is non-profit cooperative focused on the environment, youth and community, natural building, and the arts. Located in Ship Harbour, on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia (60 km. east of Halifax) the beautiful ocean front property provides learning, recreational and research opportunities through experiential, rural place-based activities
