There are lots of reasons to pay a visit to the Deanery Project, but no matter what you come for, you’ll find plenty of fresh air and activity. Volunteers are at work almost every day, building a new “tiny house” to house resident artists, putting up a new shed for our expanding fleet of bicycles, or just weeding in our permaculture garden. Many of our events take place outdoors, like our annual Bicycle Carnival in June. And no matter when you come, you’re welcome to walk on the miles of trails through our woods, or even take a dip in the cool waters of Ship Harbour off our rock beach.
