Beautiful Brush Fence Building and Fall Tree Planting Workshop
If you loved your Rural Roots experience, please join us this Sunday, November 13th from 1:00 – 4:30 for (free) hands-on opportunities to learn more about sustainable forest practices.
Beautiful Brush Fence Building will take place from 1:00 – 2:30 with our current artists-in-residence Cassie and Anand. Use brush to create spaces that can either discourage or encourage creature access, stabilize soil erosion and c
From 2:30 – 4:30 our wonderful horticulturist Jim Turner will demonstrate several fall planting systems we are using in our emerging Acadian tree nursery, then we will plant out several dozen trees.
